These rocks are Jabreen’s fingers, that’s how they are known to the Indigenous people of the Gold Coast.
Jabreen was a giant from the Dreamtime, look up the story, this is where he fell asleep and these are his fingers poking out of the volcanic rocks.
That is why Burleigh Heads is such a special place …
Enjoy it and respect it for everyone.

Sometimes a bit of blur works well in a picture.
From the other morning when I was up and out as the sun was coming up.
I decided to deviate from my walk as I saw the light was beautiful and the surfers were all headed out over these rocks. This guy actually did fall over as he entered the water but was fine. .....
