Today marks another exciting milestone for Viking Cruises today with a naming ceremony taking place for EIGHT new river ships.

Four Viking Longships will be christened in Amsterdam as well as a ceremony taking place in Paris to officially welcome our four purpose-built Viking Seine Ships to our river fleet.

First the lifting of the Cruise Ban, and now NEW ZEALAND IS OPEN!!!!

New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern has just announced that fully vaccinated Australian travellers will be able to enter the country without quarantine from 12 April, with the PM saying "we are ready to welcome the world back".

Visitors from other countries which have visa waiver arrangements with New Zealand will be able to enter without quarantine or isolation requirements from 01 May.

The revised reopening will allow Australians to cross the Tasman for the upcoming school holiday period, with the move also set to provide a major boost for the NZ ski sector.

So now is the time to plan your trip across the Tasman and back over to the Land of the Long White Cloud!!!
