For those who have walked the Three Capes Track, which part was your favourite? A diversity of landscapes and ecosystems, including exposed coastal heathlands, surprise pockets of coastal rainforest and climbing the peninsula's highest peaks, Mount Fortescue and Arthurs Peak are highlights of the Three Capes Track often overlooked.

We have new Spring and Autumn dates available to join Tasmanian botanist Danah Leary on a unique walk to explore and celebrate the distinctive flora of Cradle Mountain and the Overland Track across these seasons.
This walk is designed for people who love flora, ecology, walking, learning and the evolving adaptations of plants in the alpine environment. Each day you’ll immerse yourself in the detail and the grandeur of the Overland Track. And after you arrive at the hut each day, refresh then relax in comfort with a glass of wine and join Danah in botanical sketching sessions.

East Cloudy Head is our stunning walk on day two of our Bruny Island Long Weekend. We take in sweeping views of Tasmania’s far south and the wild Southern Ocean. The five-hour (14km) journey begins by walking the length of Cloudy Bay Beach. Windswept and beautiful, the walk then leads us into coastal heath and up toward spectacular views of Bruny Island’s rugged south coast.

Tim from Tasmania - photography couldn't have said and captured it better, "The most glorious memory of the wonderful Overland Track, one of the best multi-day hikes in Tasmania, Australia. Waking up to a winter wonderland in an ancient, unspoilt landscape. Such a blessing to be there."
You never know the weather you will encounter year round on the Overland Track but there is beauty in all conditions. Would you agree?

Begin day three of our Kangaroo Island Signature Walk at an iconic Kangaroo Island site, the spectacular granite formations of the Remarkable Rocks. Shaped by the forces of wild weather over millions of years, it’s the perfect spot to capture your iconic Kangaroo Island photo in front of the orange lichen covered rocks. Follow the cliff edges with unobstructed views along 8kms of the southern coast of Kangaroo Island ending at Sanderson Bay.

Have you been lucky enough to spot a Koala on Kangaroo Island?
Koalas were not on Kangaroo Island at the time of European settlement, and in the 1920s 18 koalas were released in Flinders Chase National Park to save their declining mainland population.

With its turquoise waters and soft, rich sand, Crescent Bay is just around the corner from our Tasman Camp. On a clear day you can see Tasman Island and the striking cliffs of Cape Pillar. Spend some time soaking up the sun's rays, watching the waves lap on the shoreline and admiring the heights of the surrounding sand dunes before joining up with our private track and continuing through to Tasman Camp.

After a quick briefing in Alice Springs on the first morning, we head out towards the red ridges of Tjoritja / The West MacDonnell Ranges to start our walking adventure at Standley Chasm. After a visit to the peaceful narrow gorges the guides will take you off the beaten track into a portion of section 3 of the Larapinta trail. This is our only opportunity to visit the rugged Chewings Range section of the trail, a less accessible part of Tjoritja / The West MacDonnell Ranges but well worth the effort.

.alexander.visuals beautifully captured an adorable rare White Bennett's Wallaby. A genetic mutation in the Bennett's Wallaby has thrown off the balance of melanin in these little marsupials causing them to become albino. A lack of predators has helped the survival of this unique population making Bruny Island the only place in the world to see them!

Ormiston Gorge to the Finke River offers a longer day of exploring the ranges on our Larapinta Signature Walk, where you can move through the landscape at your own pace. Heading west from Ormiston Gorge we wander through the undulating foothills of the range. Views back towards Ormiston in the morning light are an absolute delight, and ahead you will see the majestic Rwetyepme / Mt Sonder.

Day 6 of our Cradle Mountain Signature Walk takes us through some of the oldest forest in the National Park, with King Billy pines as much as 2000 years old. Now, we are above the Mersey River, which descends deeply northward towards Bass Strait, spilling down cliff faces and over three major sets of waterfalls in the area. We aim to visit one or more of these, choosing the best to have lunch beside depending on conditions.

Our Tasman Camp is secluded accommodation on private coastal land. Our camp represents the perfect place to retreat. Although the camp has been built completely off the grid, we are not without our creature comforts including hot showers, which is well appreciated after a long day of walking. With most of our days spent in wild, powerful, coastal places, our camp is a sanctuary we can return to at the end of day one and two, gathering in the dining room and sharing food and stories from the day.
Our Three Capes Adventure Walk and Three Capes Long Weekend are the two walks that use this accommodation.

On Bruny Island your day might begin with a gentle thumping past your tent. While the inquisitive wallaby isn’t your wake up call, his visit, or the promise of warm croissants might lure you from your crisp sheets to reunite with us at the rustic wooden dining table once more. A start to your day of adventure you're not going to forget.

Wake up on the final day of our Kangaroo Island Signature Walk to a hot breakfast, followed by a short shuttle to the start of today’s walk from Kelly Hill Conservation Park, home to mesmerizing ancient caves that often serve as a habitat for threatened and endangered animal species. You'll spend the day walking through bushland, en route to Hanson Bay Beach. You will be treated to lunch, a celebratory drink and nibbles as we debrief at Kangaroo Island Spirits before being collected for the return journey back to Adelaide.

Over breakfast on day 5 of our Wineglass Bay Signature Walk we decide whether we ascend Mt Graham and take the high route to Wineglass Bay or opt for the less challenging but equally stunning coastal section of the Freycinet Peninsula circuit track. The former sees us head inland from the shores of Cooks Beach and ascend through tall Tasmanian Blue Gum forests before traversing the button grass fields of the East Freycinet Saddle, dotted with seasonal wildflowers. The trail descending from Mt Graham and Mt Freycinet takes in spectacular coastal views including iconic Wineglass Bay.

Day 5 is a real highlight of the Larapinta Trail Signature Walk, as we climb to the peak of Rwetyepme/Mount Sonder. This morning is an early start. The first hour walking is in the pre-dawn and we watch the country waking up. We wind steadily uphill for 3km through the shadows of Eucalypt and Acacia. The early start is easily worth it as we gain a saddle to watch the sun rise.
