What to expect on the Overland Track? 🤔

Everything. From blizzards and fog to spectacular sunny days perfect for swimming.

While most of the photos you see of the Overland show spectacular boardwalks, you'll actually also be walking over steep boulders, or muddy button grass, along waterfalls and slippery tracks. No sugar coating here.

That's why we love the Overland Track 🤯 it's a real adventure in one of the most beautiful landscapes in Australia.

As soon as the cold weather hits, Maria Island becomes a masterpiece - one you (almost) have all to yourself.

It's mesmerising no matter what season you go in, but heading there in winter gives you an entirely different experience - it's well worth the extra layers of warm clothes.

Stretching before your walk helps decrease the chance of injury, increases your performance during your walk and lessens muscle soreness after your hike.

"Wow!

Great guides in Annabel and Jesse who made sure I was always looked after. It is a challenging walk, one that I had on my wish list for more than 30 years. To spend trail time with Bel and Jesse and the super people in the other walkers was an epic way to cross over into a new year.

Tas Ex truly do live the mission of leave-no-trace and I also learned some great things I will take with my future hikes. Being 55 and achieving a full pack hike, thank you again Bel and Jesse for helping me achieve this on such a pure part of Tasmanian wilderness."
