2023: What a year it's been! It's been one full of adventure, wild places, and amazing people. We launched two incredible new itineraries in Australia - Larapinta, and Kangaroo Island - and, for the first time, we took our Tasmanian way of walking overseas with by Nature. We won Gold in the Tasmanian Tourism Awards Ecotourism category for the third consecutive year - a huge pat on the back for the whole team (we're officially in the Hall of Fame!).
2024 is sure to be another landmark year for us, and we can't wait to share the exciting things we have in store.
From all of us at TWC, we wish you a safe and sustainable festive season and we hope to see you on the track in 2024!
In the words of our General Manager, Heath Garrat
"We're super excited about doing what we do, and doing more of it!

Day 5 of the Larapinta Signature Walk is a real highlight of the track, as we climb to the peak of Rwetyempe/Mount Sonder. This morning is an early start. The first hour of walking is in the pre-dawn and we watch the country waking up. We wind steadily uphill for 3km through the shadows of Eucalypt and Acacia. The early start is easily worth it as we gain a saddle to watch the sunrise.
From the saddle, the incline continues, steady yet unrelenting through the morning. The landscape continues to expand and when you reach the summit and are greeted with some of the most spectacular views in Tjoritja / The West MacDonnells. It is a truly stunning vantage of Central Australia.
