Latest fire season update:
Rosa Brook community email

Hi All,
Please be aware the Prohibited burning season has been brought forward to start this Wednesday 22 November.
Given we have a HIGH FDR forecast everyday until then it’s effectively already in.

This means no fires are allowed through this time.
The only exception to this is on days where the FDR is MODERATE or below, Enclosed Solid fuel BBQ’s / Pizza ovens specifically used for cooking only may be used between 6pm and 11pm
Fire pits and Campfires are Prohibited at all times during this period
Any day with a rating of HIGH or above no fires of any description are alowed for that 24 hour period.

or on the sign boards in front of MR Primary School, Entry to Cowaramup or Karridale crossroads.

Please report sightings of Fire to 000 as this is the only way the Brigade will get activated

Our beautiful little lady 17+ years old. She has had so many attacks were she collapses cries, goes limp for a minute or two then a little while later after a nap to recover. She then, to our utter surprise, is back as if nothing happened.
We were told 4 yrs ago to take her home to die as her heart was to weak. Yesterday she had 2 turns in the one day and today she did her usual little walk over to say hello the the guest in the Chalet. Thank you Hannah for the beautiful photo. 💕 🐾Zoe 💕

🌊 We welcome the World Surf League Margaret River Pro from 20-30 April 🌊

Key dates and important info while this iconic event brings the world’s best surfers to our backyard:

👣 Pedestrians will be able to access the Rivermouth at all times.
🚙 3 to 6 April: The northern section of Surfers Point car park will be closed. During this time there will be no turnaround area for large vehicles and caravans.
🐰 7 to 10: Surfers Point car park will be re-opened for the Easter long weekend - vehicles will be able to access Rivermouth Road through Surfers Point.
🚙 11 to 19 April: Surfers Point car park will be closed. Parking will be available along Surfers Point Road.
🏄‍♀️ 20 to 30 April: Sit back and enjoy The Margaret River Pro. Surfers Point car park will be closed. On surfing competition days Riflebutts dog exercise area will be closed, however the dog beach will remain open. Vehicles can access the Rivermouth Beach carpark using Rivermouth Road on days the competition is not running.
🖐🏻 1 May to 7 May: The carpark will be closed for de-construction. Parking will be available along Surfers Point Road.
🌊 8 May: Surfers Point will re-open with full access.

We look forward to seeing another spectacular surfing display from some of the best athletes in the world.
