Good winter’s morning everyone!!
Last week was perfect paddling conditions- Suptopia out on the river and the sea.
This week we are back into good snow-making conditions. So I’m back indoors doing some housekeeping.
Just chasing up a few items lent out on long term loan.
A yellow Marlin kids lifejacket size 25-40kg, similar to picture attached but yellow. Our kids have moved up to this size so we are needing it back thanks.
Also, we are chasing 2x C-kayak black split paddles identical to the one pictured below.
These items were lent out last year and we would appreciate their prompt return.

It’s been a long time since I posted anything but we’ve been busy, what can I say, life! Im a bit more of a get outside type of person than post on socials about stuff, but this is a taste of what we’ve been up to lately….

Even though the river has dropped just below flood level, we feel it is still not safe to send you out in the water for a couple of days. With king tides and more water still to come down the river from storms upstream, we feel that conditions are still not suitable for paddling and may fluctuate a bit over the next few days.

The lower Snowy is in minor flood today. It is not safe for recreational boat users to paddle in flood conditions. We are unable to rent kayaks on the Snowy whilst it us in flood. There is more water coming downstream in the next few days so please monitor the situation. Please keep posted on the latest warnings from the bom and current river levels and conditions.

An awesome journey in my country

And that’s a wrap!!
Summit to sea 2023 done and dusted. The last of the 4 groups has come in to Marlo after an ocean swim.
From the highest point in Australia,Mount kosciuszko to the ocean in Marlo, East Gippsland these amazing students and outdoor educators have walked camped and paddled through every type of weather from blistering sun to pouring rain, each and everyone of them should be proud and in awe of the massive accomplishment they’ve ticked off, I know we are 😀🙂😌
