Well, you can if off the coast of it's perfect for snorkeling. Just 75 minutes from Brisbane by ferry β΄ you can explore the crystal clear waters, white sandy beaching and untouched national park of Moreton Island.
The history is far more interesting than you might think. These wrecks date back to 1960 when boat owners needed safe anchorage, so 15 vessels were deliberately sunk over 20 years, over time these skeletons have developed into a tourist attraction.
If snorkeling π€Ώ is not your best sport, you can still enjoy this site as the wrecks stick out from the water so you can just float around and still have the same amazing adventure as your travel partners.
