done my national service 1955 didnt like it all that i hated being told what to do.

i was born in melbourne & lived in the suburb of richmond i went to brighton st stateschool , i started work when i was 13 had a variety of jobs, including an apprentiship as a shoemaker. i went to new zealand in 1962 for holiday & got married to a maori girl fom pawarenga in the far north of nz. i resided in nz for 40 years, i came back home to oz in 2002 t look after my aging mother
