Our aim is to educate the public about bees and beekeeping as well as providing beekeeping advice and practice to current and prospective beekeepers. Because of the corona virus pandemic and until further notice, the scheduled public openings of the apiary on the second and fourth Sundays of each month have been cancelled. When we are open again, you can send a request to [email protected]

Late winter orientation of bees at a hive entrance.

During a sunny break in the early afternoon of 28th July 2015 newly emerged bees were able to orientate themselves at the hive entrances. Here is the action at Finn's hive.
