As you see, we have recently spruced up the oiled outdoor furniture with paint.

Our guest Michelle and her her two rescued Golden Retrievers had a holiday at Mudjimba Cottage recently.
Doug is in the top picture, and Maggie below.
They are both 10 years old (unrelated) and both were adopted as adults from Golden Retriever Rescue in NSW.
Michelle says they love the beach, looking for fish, sleeping on the cool tiles, and, unsurprisingly, food!

Floyd and Roxie have travelled from the Northern Territory to stay at Mudjimba Cottage on the Sunshine Coast Queensland.
Floyd (6) is a pretty red male border collie and Roxie the Foxie is a 3 year old lady. They looove each other but love the beach here even more ( no crocodiles you see!)

Christie came to stay at Mudjimba Cottage (after the floods at Eumundi on the Sunshine Coast) with her 2 cat. Christie says; The calico cat is Love Heart I rescued her in November... she’s 13 , and the little cheeky one is Zeuki he’s about 3 months and a chinchilla. Thank you so much again!

Tilly is holidaying at Mudjimba Cottage and here she is playing life guard on Mudjimba beach. Tilly is half kelpie possibly half Labrador. She is very smart.. sometimes a bit too smart (says her adoring pawents) and has lots of energy. I say she is an astonishingly quiet and well mannered kelpie. She is 6 years old and her pawents 3rd child 🤣 ( and probably the best behaved of them all, say I). Pawents say: She has loved the walks and swim on the beach. We take her all the way to the river so she gets to burn lots of energy with freesbie and ball all the way. Because we are moving a lot, she sticks by us and as long as she can see one of us she is happy.

The Cottage was perfect for our home away from home. My beautiful Barnie is a 20 week old British Bulldog.
He loved going to the beach every morning 😍 and he loved sitting watching the breeze in the trees at the cottage.
He would love to be featured on your page 😁

Jen and Kona were guests at Mudjimba Cottage over the Christmas holidays and they are coming back for next Christmas as well. Jen says Kona was a Labrador rescue who's owners had to go overseas and couldn't take him as he was 9 and they were not sure how long they'd stay. He was loved.
Jen has had him 3 years in March. They book many holidays together throughout the year. 💙🐶

"Get off that bed" Nackers growls at Lilith. Now, that just would not happen at Mudjimba Cottages...as all dogs are allowed on rhe furniture.. even spoiled bratty little sisters.

Kim's dear spoodle Cary passed on...but then Raffy joined Kim's family on their most recent holiday at Mudjimba Cottage. Have you even seen such a cheeky face!
Here is Kim's story about Raffy:
This is Raffy! She is 5 year old miniature schnauzer. She was a breeding dog. She has had two litters, but doesn’t seem to be able to have any more. She was very reluctantly sold by her breeder. She is very affectionate and Morgan my black toy poodle loves her.

I was so sad to hear Kim's lovely doggo Cary passed away and so I asked her to write to us about him:
Mudjimba Cottage has been our regular beach house getaway for a few years, and my dogs always come along for the break. This is Cary, my much loved rescued chocolate spoodle. I adopted Cary as a 10 year old. He was found on the streets in northern NSW in a very poor condition. Wonderful foster parents nursed him back to health. He always remained a very anxious dog. Cary passed away at the end of June this year, after a battle with cancer. He was 14. He always relished his time at Mudjimba Cottage, runs on the beach, and generally being thoroughly spoiled. He certainly deserved it after his rough start in life.

I am a gorgeous black standard poodle. 20 months old so I need lots of exercise and play. The beach is perfect. This weekend I was very brave in the surf and swam out past my comfort zone. I got dumped by a wave but that didn't worry me too much. I'm looking forward to my next surf and beach run. Thanks for letting me stay at your place. I had a great time!

Hi Helen and Glen. We are loving your home and have settled in for what we know will be a relaxing break. We absolutely love how quiet the area is and the fact we can have the third child with us is even better!
Frankie our 1 year old French bulldog is absolutely loving her first trip to the beach! She is the smallest member of our family - she was the runt of the little that only we were brave enough to take. After a surgery that saved her life she has settled in with our family is living her best life! Thanks so much for providing such a family friendly place to stay where she can come along. Our kids are loving having her here and judging by her smile she is loving it too!
