WENTWORTH FALLS📍

Wentworth Falls is a key part of our Blue Mountains tours, due to its plethora of stunning lookout points overlooking the waterfalls.

This track is a 1.4km walk, suitable for all ages and fitness levels.

In Spring Luera is famous for its cherry blossoms. The peak of Spring is the first weekend of October when the pink cherry blossoms bloom down the centre of Luera Mall, this is the weekend the mall is closed to traffic for the Leura Garden Festival.

Ever wondered why the Blue Mountains are named as they are? 🤔

In 1788, Governor Phillip initially named them "Carmarthen Hills" and "Landsdowne Hills." But it didn't take long for the area's enchanting blue haze to cause a change in the name.

Turns out, this mystical mist is produced by the countless eucalyptus trees releasing tiny droplets of eucalyptus oil into the air. These droplets scatter sunlight, creating that captivating blue appearance! 🌿✨

The Grand Canyon Walk. Near Blackheath and leading into the Gross Valley lies a canyon gorge. The Grand Canyon. This is well known amongst hikers and is also a popular canyon for adventurers who don wetsuits and carry inflatable air beds then abseil deeper into the gorge below. It is about a three hour walk with steep sections leading in and out. We start at Neats Glen and finish where it opens to the Gross Valley

Kangaroos at Glenbrook National Park

Glenbrook National Park is not far from the Great Western Highway at the base of the Blue Mountain. It is really worth the visit. Most of the time we see wild kangaroos, lately the chance of seeing them is higher. In winter the days are shorter, we are on tour closer to dawn and dusk. These kangaroos were found basking in the winter sun mid morning. Please let us know if you would like to include a visist to Glenbrook on your Blue Mountains Tour.

Narrow Neck Lookout

Again with the drone, just for a short time today at Narrow Neck Lookout on Cliff Drive which has views over the Narrow Neck , a plateau which divides the Jamison and Megalong Valleys.
