At Helloworld Macarthur Square we cannot wait for cruising to resume! There are many jobs and broader industries that benefit from the cruise industry - the farmers that grow the food, the ice-cream shop or gift store you visit in port, the cafes that surround the check in terminals and ports, all of these businesses continue to do it tough whilst we await a plan for a cruising re-start.
CLIA is calling for urgent progress to break the cycle of government inaction which has meant our region is being left behind while other countries rebuild their cruising and tourism economies.
Australasia is now one of the only major cruise destination in the world where governments have made no substantial progress on plans for cruising’s revival.
Other countries have not only agreed on detailed plans to uphold safety on cruise ships, but have also resumed cruising and successfully carried more than three million passengers so far.

We are so excited for the International Border to reopen TOMORROW 🎉 🍾 ✈️

It has been a busy couple of weeks back in the office. We have absolutely loved seeing so many of you back in-store and assisting you with your travel enquires.

Here is a little update on the reopening dates for vaccinated Australian tourists:
Qantas services to London and Los Angeles resume from tomorrow 01 November
Thailand 🇹🇭 reopens from 01 November
Singapore 🇸🇬 reopens from 08 November
Fiji 🇫🇯 reopen from 01 December

Other destinations with no quarantine include Italy, Greece, Germany, South Africa and Canada.

Smart traveller have also removed the "Do Not Travel" advice from 177 destinations.

Each country has strict requirements for entry/exit and different rules in place for testing and quarantine. Navigating the regulations is a complex process that your Travel Experts at Helloworld will happily assist with.

After a long 106 days in lockdown we are very excited to return to the office today at 9am! We look forward to seeing you, our amazing clients, in store and planning some memorable holidays.

We would like to thank you for your ongoing support over the last 20 months and eagerly await that first international plane to leave Sydney Airport next month ✈️

Based upon NSW public health orders, in store consults will only be available to fully vaccinated customers or those medically exempt. Proof must be provided at QR check in. Our priority is the safety of our customers and & community.

There has been lots in the news about Qantas aiming to restart from 18 December and there is exciting progress with home quarantine trials commencing in NSW.

But have you heard after an 18 month hiatus since Hawaiian Airlines last flew into or out of Australia, they have scheduled direct flights to Honolulu from December 16.

We are dusting off our passports and checking the expiry dates!
