As a Team Member you will be working on varied projects and performing the following but not limited to:

-Termination, installation and maintenance of low voltage overhead & underground service cables.

- Installation of private poles and underground pillars

- Fitting advanced metering equipment, testing & energising.

- UGOH Connections

- All aspects of disconnection and reconnection of services

-MSB installations and alterations
Installation of standard, CT and retail metering

-Connecting and testing into sub-stations

-Various other general electrical duties including: switchboard installations, special small services, as well as domestic, commercial and civil electrical ASP construction

Essential Attributes:

Self-motivated and energetic person who is able to run jobs autonomously

OHS White Card

Current NSW drivers’ licence

Ability to work unsupervised to a high level efficiency

Excellent work ethic

High level of attention to detail

Sound understanding of the relevant network standards, Service and Installation rules and AS3000

Desirable Attributes - Not Essential (training will be provided if required):

Network Authorisation in either the Ausgrid or Endeavour networks

Up-to-date electrical refresher training and safety rules

Experience in domestic, commercial and civil electrical ASP field

High Risk EWP licence preferred not essential

Network Authorisation in both Ausgrid and Endeavour network would be highly advantageous.

The Role

This opportunity is open to both experienced project managers and someone seeking to come off the tools and into the office. We can provide appropriate training to the right candidate who is looking to progress in their career.

We are seeking an energetic, people focused, process driven Electrical Project Manager, who has the ability to create and nurture growth, growth of people, the brand and the overall business.

This is a critical role where the successful candidate will need to lead and drive project leadership in the development, costing, implementation and successful delivery of project outcomes for our clients and our business.

You will lead a team of electricians and apprentices to deliver multiple projects throughout the greater Sydney area. Projects range in scope and complexity.

This role is base in our Leppington office and can involve travel to projects within the greater Sydney area.

About You

You will have proven ability to perform within the electrical field and preferably within the ASP sector. Having a strong ASP2 knowledge will be highly advantageous.

Your duties and responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

Lead and manage the delivery of projects ensuring delivery is on-time, within scope and on-budget.

Manage project budgets, monitoring expenditures and costs against project deliverables.

Management of scope changes, including preparation and submission of variation requests and approvals with client.

Provide onsite leadership and day to day management of site-based teams.

Engagement and management of key subcontractors required for project delivery, including performance management and any dispute resolution requirements.

Management of labour forecasting and resourcing requirements for project delivery

Lead and manage all safety, quality and environmental requirements ensuring operational activities are conducted in compliance with WHS, QA & Environmental legislation and standards

To be successful in this role, you should be highly motivated with the following:

Strong knowledge and technical experience within electrical trade (Mandatory)

Experience and understanding of ASP2 installations and technical support (advantageous)

Current NSW Electrical Workers Licence

A strong ability to multi-task including proactive and reactive works.

Project Management Qualifications (advantageous)

A strong background in electrical construction.

Experience in managing and leading a team to deliver successful outcomes

Strong knowledge of electrical regulations, by-laws and codes.

Strong work ethic with high safety and quality work standards

Critical thinking, problem solving and decision-making skills

Place our clients needs at the top of your priority list

Have a “Can do” approach towards solving problems

Approach every day with the companies best interest at heart

Ability to operate well in a team environment

Previous experience in the ASP industry (Advantageous)

Current Construction White Card

Current NSW Open C Class Driver Licence
