Step-by-step guide for finding the best Nepal vacation packages:

1. Start by researching online travel agencies (OTAs) and tour operators that offer vacation packages in Nepal. You can do this by searching on Google or other search engines using keywords like "Nepal vacation packages," "Nepal travel deals," or "best Nepal tours."

2. Browse the websites of various travel agencies and tour operators to see what types of vacation packages they offer for Nepal. Look for packages that include the activities and experiences you're interested in, such as trekking, cultural tours, wildlife safaris, or adventure sports.

3. Check reviews and ratings of the travel agencies or tour operators you're considering. You can find reviews on their websites, social media pages, and review platforms like TripAdvisor and Yelp. Look for positive feedback and comments about the quality of the services, the itinerary, the tour guides, and the overall experience.

4. Compare the prices, itineraries, and inclusions of the vacation packages offered by different travel agencies or tour operators. Look for packages that offer the best value for your budget and preferences. Some things to consider when comparing packages are the length of the trip, the type and quality of accommodations, the transportation options, the activities and attractions included, and any additional fees or taxes.

5. Contact the travel agencies or tour operators you're interested in to ask any questions or concerns you may have about the vacation packages. A reputable agency or operator should be responsive and willing to provide detailed information about their packages and services.

6. Once you've selected a vacation package that meets your needs and budget, book your trip and make sure you have all the necessary travel documents and vaccinations for your trip to Nepal.

Remember that finding the best Nepal vacation packages requires some research, comparison, and evaluation. Take your time, read reviews, ask questions, and choose a package that fits your interests, budget, and travel style.

Recipe for Gundruk [Step by Step Guide]

Gundruk Recipe:

Ingredients:

- 1 bunch of mustard greens (about 1 pound), washed and chopped
- 1 tablespoon salt
- 1 tablespoon turmeric powder
- 1 tablespoon cumin seeds
- 2-3 dried red chili peppers (optional)
- Water, as needed

Instructions:

1. In a large bowl, mix the chopped mustard greens with salt and turmeric powder. Use your hands to mix and massage the greens, ensuring that they are evenly coated with salt and turmeric.

2. Transfer the greens to a clean glass jar or earthenware pot, pressing them down firmly to remove any air pockets. Add enough water to cover the greens completely.

3. Cover the jar or pot with a clean cloth and place it in a warm, dark place for 3-4 days, stirring the mixture once a day. The greens should start to ferment and develop a slightly sour taste and a strong aroma.

4. Once the greens have fermented, drain the liquid and spread the greens out on a clean, dry surface to dry in the sun for 2-3 days, or until they are completely dry and crispy.

5. Once the greens are dry, crush them into small pieces using your hands or a mortar and pestle.

6. Heat a pan over medium-high heat and add the cumin seeds and dried red chili peppers, if using. Toast them for 1-2 minutes, until they become fragrant.

7. Add the crushed greens to the pan and stir well to combine with the cumin seeds and chili peppers. Cook for 5-6 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the greens are heated through and lightly toasted.

8. Serve the Gundruk as a side dish or use it as an ingredient in soups and curries.

FAQs:

Gundruk is a good source of vitamins and minerals, including vitamin C, calcium, and iron. The fermentation process also increases the bioavailability of these nutrients, making them more easily absorbed by the body. Additionally, the probiotics produced during fermentation can improve digestion and boost the immune system.

नयाँ वर्ष २०८० को हार्दिक मंगलमय शुभकामना!

In Nepal, the New Year is celebrated according to the Vikram Samvat calendar, which is a Hindu calendar system named after the ancient king, Vikramaditya. The Vikram Samvat calendar is believed to have started in 57 BCE and is still used in Nepal and parts of India.

The New Year, called "Naya Barsha" in Nepali, usually falls in mid-April and is a time of great celebration and renewal. People clean their homes, decorate with colorful rangoli (intricate designs made with colored powder), and prepare traditional feasts to share with family and friends.

One of the most important traditions of Naya Barsha is "Bisket Jatra," a festival held in the city of Bhaktapur, where a huge chariot is pulled through the streets and people throw red powder at each other. It is believed that whoever gets the most powder on their face will have good luck for the year.

So, Happy New Year or "Naya Barsha ko hardik mangalmaya shubhakamana" to all Nepalis around the world! May the new year bring you joy, prosperity, and good luck!
