This fully contained holiday home has everything you need for a fun family coastal getaway, a long weekend escape or a quiet retreat for two

d with a large gas BBQ & table setting for ten people. There is plenty of room for the kids (and big kids) to hang out! On the lower lever there is a games room with a large flat screen TV, beanbags, guitar and table tennis. Ground level sleeps ten 2 x bunk rooms each containing: 1 x double bunk bed 1 x single bed and one Queen room. The master Queen bedroom with ensuite is located upstairs. This fully fenced property is situated on a quiet street, has 4 car parks, boat parking, double garage complete with a short board, learners board and boogie boards. Grab a boogie board and head down to Chiton Beach, which is just minutes away! Chiton Rocks Surf Life Saving Club patrols this beach all year long. The club welcomes the public to the bar after Saturday and Sunday patrols so be sure to pop in for a casual drink and a friendly chat after a great day at the beach. Castaway is situated near a scenic bike / walking track which takes you into Port Elliot, It’s an easy bike ride, a good walk and the views are spectacular! BYO bikes or use our brand new vintage ladies bike provided. During summer the area is abuzz with art shows, food & wine festivals, country markets, great weather, beach events and happy holiday vibes. May is the beginning of the whale watching season and the Whale Time Festival. The migratory patterns of the Southern Right Whale are predictable, returning to the sheltered warm waters to mate or give birth to their young each year and one of the best places to view this is off Chiton Rocks and the Bluff where here they can be spotted just 100m off shore. Victor Harbor is part of The Fleurieu Peninsula and is just over an hours drive from Adelaide. It is renowned for its award winning food & wine regions, world-class golf courses, Australian wildlife sanctuaries and home to some of the best beaches in Australia. The Southern Ocean will cast its magical spell over you – however long you choose to castaway for - the weekend, summer holidays, or during winter, the raw nature of this beautiful part of the world will leave a special place in you heart and memories to cherish forever.

Horseshoe Bay 1980 🌊 (My Brother and Mum pregnant with me) We would have one family holiday a year and it was always at Pt. Elliot. At one stage it was an 8 hour drive with 3 kids in the car - we loved arriving at the beach house and would fight for the top bunk, then we'd go get take out of chips, potato fritter, pineapple fritter, dim sims and go and eat it at Horseshoe Bay ☺️such amazing memories like many other families have of holidays at Pt. Elliot 🌊
