The secret to happy walking is good foundations.
With the right footwear you will walk further, with more comfort and the focus can be on your environment not on the pain in your feet. Ideally we would all be walking bare foot, however many of us are long way from this these days, so good hiking boots are a must. Unfortunately it is trial and error as all our feet are as unique as we are.
TIPS to good hiking shoes.
* Try on many
* make sure there is space to move the toes, but not so much space that you foot is moving.
* Ask others, about their experiences.
* Ask the staff in the store about feedback Eg: is this shoe good for wide feet or narrow feet?
* Wear them in. Never buy a new pair of hiking shoes then hike 10km the next day. Wear them in and get a feel for them.
* If there is any friction anywhere, then they are the wrong ones.
* Don't have shellac on your toes and wear boots that are too small!!! Keep toe nails short.

Because it is necessary in the human experience to continue to expand and evolve. When we hold on to something out of fear we will suffocate it eventually and it will die. Best to always walk towards change and your best life will be, what you are being, not a distant ideal.
