Our Story
Travelling to Nepal in 2013, on a whim, I fell in love, I discovered, what I believe, is the heart centre of the world. Some say the mountains are alive and still growing. When I am there, I can feel them alive, this became even more true for me when I experienced the 2015 Earthquakes in Kathmandu. Despite this tragedy and the ripple effect of this destruction, Nepal welcomes tourism now more than ever. I have never met such amazing people, this was even more evident to me after the earthquake and the way communities came together to assist each other. Even though many people had nothing to give, they gave anyway... they gave their time, their support and money in any way they could. This energy and heart centred living inspired me and from this I felt a responsibility to give back. Nepal ignited all my senses, my body, mind and soul forever changed because I was blessed by both the land and the people. After many treks into the Himalayas, I can not begin, to explain in words the feeling of walking, surrounded by such beauty, kindness, happiness, simplicity and Village life. Reconnection Tours was born from love. It arose from my connection to heart and soul. Nepal has become part of my story. Reconnection Tours wants to give you an opportunity to CREATE your own Story and CONNECT with “you”, through nature, slow cooked living and tours that ignite your soul.
