Thursdays are a good day to check out the south east of the island. Starting off on the pink sands of the crane, then up to the small sheltered cove known as Shark Hole. Unfortunately an attempt to check out the new Sam Lords Castle hotel was thwarted because you need a reservation apparently (booo). Then up to Bottom Bay for a Cocunut cocktail and time to sit and think before finishing off at Bathsheba for a RudeBoy whilst watching out for the surfers.

This place is definitely recommended if you’d like to have a nice afternoon eating, drinking and sunbathing without the sand. Just North of Speightstown next to Port St Charles. Oh, and they do one of the best burgers on the island.

I always find it interesting that you can put the same post on some Barbados groups but not on others. I can only think that the difference is driven either by the ego’s of the group admins or the fact that the admin owner is also a property owner.
