জেটি সংস্কারের কাজ ইতিমধ্যে শুরু হয়ে গিয়েছে। যাত্রী চলাচলের স্থান এখনো অবধি সুরক্ষিত আছে। জেটির কিছুটা অংশ ক্ষতিগ্রস্ত হয়েছে। তবে তা সংস্কার করা হচ্ছে। ইনশাআল্লাহ ১ লা নভেম্বর থেকেই নির্বিঘ্নে শুরু হবে শীপ চলাচল।
