Having visited Bulgaria twice before (Bankso), for this year’s annual ski trip we were looking for something a little different and Borovets and Chalet Mechka provided us with everything we needed. With 10 of us (6 adults 4 kids) it’s always tricky to find something to suit all but Mechka did not disappoint.
To sit by an open fire after a day’s skiing was a treat, the in house sauna also helped eased sore muscles and for the kids to use the on site pool was an added bonus.

Joanna, the host is exceptional, always on hand when needed with lots of great advice. She made our trip very easy, nothing was too much trouble.

The suggestion to stop off at Lidal on our way to the chalet was a great idea and allowed us to stock up for the week.

We even had snowfall whilst there so skiing was top class. We have always found Bulgaria to be a great place to ski for families - everything is reasonably priced. We are all different skiing abilities and this resort suited us well.

The shuttle service is great, it’s about 15 minutes from the main town and slopes.

This chalet is great value for money, has everything you need - you won’t be disappointed and we are already planning our next trip!

Amazing Chalet to Complement an Amazing Ski Trip!
Had an amazing trip and staying at this chalet was 100% a highlight. The host is exceptionally helpful and the chalet was equipped with everything we needed. It’s beautifully furnished and even has a super cosy fire and sauna so you can warm up after a day on the slopes. The reception comes with a snack shop, a restaurant and a full spa with a pool, whirlpool bath and sauna - everything you need. The distance from the chalet to the main slopes is also not far and it makes it even easier that you can simply book the shuttle that will take you there in about 15 minutes! Would definitely stay here again - already thinking about booking our next trip! Thank you so much.

What a great review… and we still have a couple of slots left for the season. We sleep up to 11 over 4 bedrooms…..

Just returned from an incredible week of skiing with my friends, and I can't rave enough about our experience!

The chalet is simply stunning, equipped with everything we could possibly need. The open fireplace added a charming touch to our evenings. The spacious accommodation offers breathtaking views, making it the perfect spot to see both sunrise and sunset. The host was incredibly responsive, and the on-site team was exceptionally helpful. The availability of a pool, sauna, whirlpool bath, on-site shop, and restaurant made our stay even more enjoyable.

The convenience of a shuttle bus to the slopes was a definite plus, both practical and cost-effective. Thank you so much for providing such a beautiful place to stay!

We're already planning our next trip to come back!
