Ahem Tours and Treks is coordinating an exquisite experience of the local Nye-Kor tradition through their exceptional service. The Nye-Kor includes visiting a sacred place of “Paro Tshering cha nye” also known as “Five Sisters of Long Life”. As per Hindu mythology, it is a place where the five sisters; Ahalya, Draupadi, Sita, Tara, and Mandodari have blessed the place. The temple honoring them is positioned in a way that it directly faces the Paro Rinpung Dzong. A fascinating belief holds that the spiritual significance of the temple extends over the Chang paddy fields located between these two sites.
Commencing from the 20th of August 2023, Ahem Tours and Treks is launching the local Nye expedition from Paro Tshering che nya. This extraordinary package, priced at 1200 per person, encompasses a variety of offerings such as a hearty lunch, evening tea with delectable snacks, comfortable transportation via a Coaster Bus, and a complimentary water bottle per person.
The itinerary is designed for a group of 18 people and entails a convenient pickup from the Changlingmethang parking area, Thimphu, concluding in a drop-off at the same location. The tour includes visits to remarkable sites like Tashi tseringma, Tingi, shalzangma, Miyo Lozangma, Chopen Drizangma, and Takar Drozangma.
