Visitors should however know that the government approved minimum tariff is set at US$ 200/- per hear per day. The amount is inclusive of:
Internal taxes, service charges and royalty. All meals, transportation, camping equipments, travelwith licensed Bhutanese tourguide trekking equipments and hotel expenses. (Please note that our hotels, meals and transport meet with not only the local but international standards as well. The above mentioned tariff applies to a group (three or more individuals). The government tariff for Individual travelers is at US$ 40 for solo travelers and US$ 30 for couples. Surcharges, however, must be borne by them. Students with a valid proof can avail discounts. Bhutan’s only airport is at Paro and Druk air is the only national airline. Visitors can fly in directly from Bangkok, Delhi, Kolkata, Bodhgaya, Bagdogra, Dhaka and Kathmandu. Those coming via road can enter the country through Phuentsholing in the South and Samdrup Jongkhar in the East
