🤩🤩 Did you know that Shark Ray Alley was added to boundaries in 1999? It is the only zone in the entire reserve where feeding of the sharks are allowed. Only tourguides are allowed to do the feeding, this is done by throwing pieces of sardines from the boat, or by placing the sardines in a chum pipe and lowering it into the water. This way visitors can get a great view of the nurse sharks feeding. While snorkeling with the sharks you are not allowed to pet them, but you can take pictures and great memories, so come and swim if you're brave 😊🦈🌊🤿
