In August of 2016 my husband on a roadtrip to get lobster for a family function spotted this cottage in Parkers Cove was up for sale. In the late 60 & early 70's the cottage was owned by Greg's dad, Ernest Rice. It was ours on September 1, 2016 and we began our journey as cottage owners and vacation rental owners. We quickly signed up with VRBO to handle our reservations/payments and have been mou
lding our vision ever since. Over the winter Linda designed the logo and her friendship with Carole Carter designed the window and sign that would forever grace the property. Spring of 2017 brought all kinds of exciting projects for the cottage. A beautiful mural painted by local artist, Janet York, backsplash by my talented brother Gary and Painting of cabinets, walls etc with the help of my sister in law, Mona & hubby Greg. Local contractor and excavator took our vision of outdoor shower and deck to a reality. Landscaping with the help of friend Les, and Gregs back labour hauling rocks for the gardens and firepit.
