Meet Chainsaw (T063), one of the most recognizable and iconic orca we have in our area.

He was born in 1978, and at some point during his youth, he lost two very large chunks from his dorsal fin, which led to his nickname “Chainsaw” 🪚. He typically makes an appearance every spring, and when he does,
everybody knows about it! He is our own local celebrity 🤩

The Final Numbers are in! A whopping 38,031 kilograms of Steel, Styrofoam, Tires, Rope, Hard Plastics, Soft Plastics, Netting and Oyster Baskets. 350kms of our shorelines were cleaned of marine debris by the Campbell River Association of Tour Operators and crew. 👏💪 Win Win - Tour operators were able to keep working over the winter. Thank you BC Government and thank you to all those that contributed, including our First Nation Stewards, and the that will turn approximately 30,000kg into recycled products.🤝 👏♻

The breath of a humpback whale is a remarkable and awe-inspiring sight. When a humpback whale surfaces to breathe, it exhales forcefully through its blowhole, creating a powerful spout of water v***r and mist. Over the past 10 years, Chelsea has been running the day to day operations of a busy dive center in Vancouver, while Josh was operating dive charter boats and whale watching tours out of Campbell River.

Their knowledge and wide skill set in the dive and tourism industry made the decision to start their own charter business a no-brainer. Their goal was to not just become another charter operator, but to offer a wide variety of experiences to set them apart from everybody else.

After spending some time on the Sunshine Coast, they made the decision to move the boat to Brown’s Bay Resort. Being so much closer in proximity to the vast marine life and coastal beauty that BC has to offer, was the biggest factor for us. We haven’t looked back since!
