Hi Everyone just got word that the Bluenose 2 will be sailing past my house in Sevenmile Bay this Wednesday July 5 at around 9am weather permitting.
If your free please come down and see her. She will be about 1 mile off shore and I hope under full sail.
This will be the closet to PEI as she will come this year.
This being Canada`s 150 birthday come down and give her a wave as she sails by. You all maybe in for a surprise.

Speaker Bio: Mr. Casey has over 30 years of managing Events. Over the past fifteen years, he has successfully obtain over $1,200,000.00 for events and not for profit organizations. Mr. Casey’s “good works” have been recognized at home and abroad. Some of the awards bestowed upon him are the 2000 Mayor Good Neighbor Award from the City of Summerside, 2001 Volunteer of the Year from the Senate of Canada, 2005 International Downtown Award Social Issues, 2008 International Downtown Award for Special Events, and 2011 Mayor’s Medal of Honor from the City of Summerside.

My project of finding sponsors for the Boys & Girls Club Summerside's new van are filling up fast. I have 2 left one on the side and the other the front of the van.
I have sold to 13 business for the sides of the van and one for the back.

The tall ship El Galeon is on it's way to Georgetown PEI. She should be in Friday morning around 11am.
If your in the area stop by and see this wonderful ship 180 feet long and 6 decks. This is one of the largest tall ships I have taken to PEI. She is an authentic wooden replica of a galleon that was part of Spain’s West Indies fleet. With information about 16th century European sailing techniques and technology.. I have coordinated over 48 different tall ships from around the world over the last 21 years and looking forward to seeing this ship sail in Friday

I am starting my next exciting event. Chicks 4 charity hosted by Heather Moyse. This event is happening August 12 at the Ocean View Resort & Golf. This is where all the ladies get spoiled & pampered at the course. So please inform your lady friends and family to come out and get spoiled. Had a very successful 3 days of golf and dinner gala. We had 750 on Monday at the dinner gala and then Tuesday we had 38 teams play golf and on Wednesday 36 teams play golf. I would like to thank all the volunteers, staff of the Summerside Boys & Girls Club and staff of the Summerside Golf Course for helping make this years even a success. Enjoy your weekend

I have taken on a new challenge starting yesterday working for the Summerside Boys & Girls Club helping to coordinated the 13th Annual Celebrity Golf Tournament & Celebrity Dinner. The date for this years Dinner is Monday July 11 and the golf is Tuesday and Wednesday July 12 & 13 at the Summerside Golf Course.. Some of the celebrities coming are Scotty Bowman the 2nd most Stanley Cups 14 as a coach or management in the history of the NHL right behind Jean Beliveau with 17. Guy Lafleur 5 Stanley Cups, Bryan Trottier 4 Stanley Cups, Gerard Gallant, Errol Thompson, Heather Moyse 2 Gold medals Olympic Games Bobsleigh, Dennis Hull a member of Team Canada 1972, Forbie Kennedy, Hal Johnson and Joanne McLeod & more to be announced soon. Tickets for the Grilled Chicken Supreme Celebrity dinner are $50.00 or a table for $400.00 .The golf teams of 3 are $900.00 which include Steak & lobster dinner after your round. The Downtown BIAs Best Practice Mission 2016 is over and was a great success. It ran from April 25th - 29th in Ontario. We visited 7 cities in 5 days Kingston, London, Hamilton, St Catharines, Niagara Falls, Kitchener, and Toronto. All 22 speakers and staff of the different cities were EXCELLENT and gave us lots of first-hand industry knowledge and information on how successful cities downtown's are working.
The information that the participants learned first-hand can now be taken back and used in the different cities and downtown's.. Thank you to Dawn Alan from Downtown Charlottetown Inc. for hiring my company to organize this mission.

The Best Practice Mission is 11 days away. All 4 hotels, 20 speakers, 12 restaurants, and 1- 24 passenger bus are all booked. On April 25 to 29 I will lead the team of 10 participants from Atlantic Canada to 7 Ontario Cities in 5 days to learn from the best. The mission starts the day 1 in Kingston then 2nd day to London. Day 3 we do Hamilton, St. Catharines, and Niagara Falls. The 4th day we do Kitchener and Toronto. The final day Toronto and then back to Atlantic Canada
