Hire An Indigenous Student 🧑‍🎓this Summer 🌞 and We Will Pay Their Wages🤑!

Qalipu First Nation’s Department of Education and Training are now accepting applications for the Youth Summer Employment Program.

Under the program, local businesses, non-profits, and Indigenous organizations can apply to receive financial support to hire a student. The program creates summer employment opportunities for Indigenous students.

Student’s Eligibility criteria:
✅Between the ages of 15-29
✅Must have been registered as a full-time student in the previous academic year
✅Returning to full-time studies in the Fall
✅Be a registered member of Qalipu First Nation or self-Identified Indigenous Person (applicants must indicate their status)

🗓️ Apply by April 5, 2024 for summer 2024 applications
