Cornwall is playing host to the Ontario Senior Games Association (OSGA) Eastern Ontario Regional Games on Thursday, August 15th! Over 200 participants from across eastern Ontario will be participating, with the majority of the activities taking place at the Benson Centre. We’re looking forward to welcoming all of the visiting participants! Thank you to Dan Youmelle and the entire organizing committee from the OSGA 55+ District 8 for their efforts!

Cornwall Waterfest returns this Saturday with a record 23 dragon boat teams and 500-plus participants! We’re looking forward to welcoming all of the visiting teams to Cornwall.

Make sure to stop by and check out the races along the Cornwall Canal (Second Street West). The event runs from 8:30am - 4pm and admission is free! There will also be a live DJ, a vendor village, food vendors and more.

We get to welcome cycle tourists to our area every day. That includes people like Francoise and Andre from Repentigny who stopped by today on this awesome bike! The couple is spending the week in the area doing some sightseeing and of course, some cycling! If you’re visiting the area, make sure to stop by our visitor info centre in front of the Cornwall Civic Complex to pick up a visitor guide, maps and souvenirs. We’re open daily from 9am - 5pm until the end of August!

Chaque jour, nous accueillons des cyclotouristes dans notre région. Cela inclut des gens comme Françoise et André de Repentigny qui ont fait un arrêt aujourd’hui sur ce superbe vélo ! Le couple passe la semaine dans la région pour se divertir et bien sûr pour faire du vélo ! Si vous visitez la région, assurez-vous de vous arrêter à notre centre d’information en face du complexe civique de Cornwall pour obtenir un guide du visiteur, des cartes et des souvenirs. Nous sommes ouverts tous les jours de 9h à 17h jusqu’à la fin d’août !

Dive into a day of fun at Cornwall Waterfest on Saturday, August 10th along the old Cornwall Canal in the city’s west end (Second Street West). Grab a spot along the Riverside Trail and watch the exciting dragon boat races! There will also be a live DJ, a vendor village, food vendors and more. Admission is free! The event runs from 8:30am - 4pm.

Poutine Feast is coming this weekend and the lineup of vendors is here! There will be four different food trucks along with other vendors. Each vendor will be serving a specialty poutine:

1. Smoking Carnivores : Brisket Poutine
2. Tragically Chip : General Tao Poutine
3. Fat Les Chip Stand : Bacon Double Cheese Poutine
4. Groovy Gravy : Loaded Tater Tot Poutine

La fête de la poutine aura lieu cet fin de semaine et la liste des vendeurs est là ! Il y aura quatre camions de nourriture différents ainsi que d’autres vendeurs. Chaque vendeur servira une spécialité de poutine:

The Cornwall BMX Track in Guindon Park is hosting a Provincial Qualifier this Sunday! Over 200 competitors and families from across Ontario are expected to attend. Spectators are welcome and it's free! The races start at 12pm. Welcome and good luck to all participants!

Cornwall’s biggest summer party is just around the corner! Cornwall Ribfest returns to Lamoureux Park from July 25-28 with carnival rides, children’s activities, food vendors, ribs, and more! There’s also free concerts featuring Journey tribute Don’t Stop Believing on Thursday night, Barstool Prophets on Friday night and Crash Test Dummies on Saturday night!

The Diversity/Diversité Cornwall Pride Parade & Festival takes place this Saturday! The event kicks off with the parade leaving the Aquatic Centre at 11am and passing through Cornwall Downtown BIA. That will be followed by the festival in Lamoureux Park from 12pm - 6pm featuring a performance by Shawnee Kish! There will be over 50 vendor booths, a BBQ by Séguin Patate, a Rurban Brewing beer tent, drag performances, face painting, bouncy castles, a children’s tent and much more! The festival is the culmination of 10 days of events planned by Diversity/Diversité Cornwall - check out their page for full details.
