We are currently accepting applications for the role of Administrative Assistant/Bookkeeper at our helicopter hangar in Hope, BC. The ideal candidate will have Bookkeeping experience, strong computer skills, excellent communication and organizational skills and the ability to learn quickly and work proficiently.

What You Need to Know:
Full-cycle bookkeeping experience.
Education in applied business technology, or a business administration diploma is strongly preferred.
Proven attention to detail and accuracy.
Demonstrated computer skills are essential (e.g. MS Office).
Excellent business communication and organizational skills.
Strong safety practices.
Must be able to pass the Drug & Alcohol pre-hire test.
To comply with Transport Canada regulations, a full vaccination against COVID-19 may be a condition of employment.
What You Will Do:
Process transactions accurately using Sage/Simply Accounting.
Answer, screen and transfer inbound phone calls.
General clerical office duties.
Handle requests for information and data.
Sort and distribute incoming correspondence.
Prepare and modify documents including correspondence, reports, memos and emails.
Assist with the administration of various software programs at VHL.
Provide excellent customer service while paying attention to details.
Manage Valley Helicopters social media.
What We Offer:
Wage depends on experience and skill level, $21-$23/hour.
