Awww! 3 nests showed up at the entrance of the guest suite...SIDE BY SIDE!! This tri-plex is even "shabby chic". Maybe they like the welcoming vibe of Spirit Lodge.

A wee hummingbird nest in one of our rose bushes right below the suite (and only 3 feet off the ground! I)t's about 4 inches in diameter...hope all are safe and sound!

Our next guests are celebrating their 25th Wedding Anniversary and don't drink champagne so some refreshing sparkly pink grapefruit bevvy, some local blueberries and apricots, gourmet tea, and organic granola bars. Along with fluffy white bathrobes (adorned with chocolates), de rigeur beach towels, and cool rooms, they are set! I hear them coming now...gotta go!

When a birder says this: "I was able to see and photograph 21 bird species over the 2 day, 3 evenings I visited your vacation Suite (and an American Blackbear, Mule Deer, endangered Nuttall Cottontail Rabbit and a Yellow-bellied Marmot:

Say's Phoebe (nesting in eaves of the little porch at the entrance of the Suite)
