Bob McMynne, and a group of shareholders, most of which were driving at the time with PSL ( Pacific Stage Lines ) , decided to form their own company, whose mission was to make life better on the road for the coach operators. When the Provincial government divested itself of PSL, the charter rights were sold to Mr. Myhre (and

others), liking the name PSL, they created ISL... from ISL came International Stage Lines. So in a sense, we were ISL before we were International Stage Lines. The schedule services were sold to another group, which became PCL , (Pacific Coach Lines).
