We have some pretty wonderful products coming to the store starting Thursday of this week.

Fresh Burrata, mozzarella, asiago, ricotta and smoked mozzarella. Happy put some aside as they do go quickly and there are limited quantities.

A new shipment of organic oils and vinegars from Italy from Liquid Gold. Indeed it's been busy for me.

A new shipment of cured meats and cheese from Ratinaud and Weber meats...and more delectable chocolates from Rosseau...

Also some natural soaps, bath salts, creams from Sage and Sweetgrass.

We also carry the most amazing items made by local artisans....The "C" word (Christmas) will be here before you know it.

Custom gift baskets are also available. I will have a few made up in store to grab and go.

We are trying out some new hours this week. Open Tuesday 10-4 pm, CLOSED WEDNESDAY, Open Thursday 11-4, Friday 10-4, Saturday 10-2

Missing person: Help the RCMP find Richard Mahoney

Victoria County District RCMP is asking for the public's assistance in locating 80-year-old Richard Mahoney of .

Mahoney was last seen early this morning, July 18, on Jessica Wong Ln. in Baddeck. He is believed to be on foot.

Mahoney is described as 5-foot-8, 140 lbs. He has grey hair and blue eyes, and a dark bruise on his right elbow. He may be wearing dark-coloured pants. There is no further clothing description.

When someone goes missing, it has deep and far-reaching impacts for the person and those who know them. We ask that people spread the word through social media respectfully.
