Carl Walsh is Director – Director Travel Trade, North America for VisitBritain, based in New York City. His team’s mandate is to increase the level of Britain product with key intermediaries (tour operator, travel agent consortia, OTA’s) focusing on product development and distribution as well as training & education.
He previously also over-saw the B2B leisure marketing for Mexico and Brazil as well as business visits for North America.
Previously, Carl was Head of International Partnerships at VisitBritain in the London office. His extensive experience in the organization includes highlights such as organizing the first official ADS group from China to Britain in July 2005.
Although based in New York City, Carl is originally from Liverpool and has lived and worked in Australia, New Zealand, Vietnam, Singapore and London.
