We recently had clients return from a Rhine river cruise with Avalon. There were 3 nights in Lake Como and 1 night in Lucerne prior to the cruise. They had a fantastic time and were excited to share a few beautiful photos with us!

With this great cruise they were able to visit 5 different countries in the span of 12 days. If you are wanting to cross multiple countries/cities off your bucket list in one trip, river cruising could be a perfect option for you!

It was a Perfect Day at Coco Cay! The Royal Caribbean private island has 3 distinct zones: The Hideaway for adults only, Thrill Waterpark and Chill Island. Two ships were in port so there was a possibility of around 11,000 guests descending on the island. For the most part, it didn’t feel overly crowded. Latecomers had some difficulty finding chairs at the beach.

The diversity and quality of the entertainment on Symphony of the Seas has been outstanding. The musical Hairspray was Broadway worthy. The light technology and skating in 1977, was superb. We capped it off tonight with Hiro performed in the Aquatheatre.

The Anchors Aweigh Parade during our first day at sea was enjoyed by all. Dozens of crew from various departments took part.

The Symphony of the Seas is a great multi-generational ship. The cabins are sleek and well appointed. Our cabin is an inside balcony overlooking The Boardwalk. Being close to the aft of the ship, we also have a partial ocean view. As the ship sails from Cape Liberty New Jersey, it was a fairly easy full day drive from home.

The world remains the same size but the features keep changing. Today is the last-ever day for Las Vegas' iconic Mirage hotel but Thursday marks the launch of Royal Caribbean International's amazing new ship, the Utopia of the Seas - complete with 21 dining options, 5 pools, zip lining, rock climbing, ice skating, and soooo much more. Yesterday we ended our wonderful tour of Ireland with Globus. We spent our morning in the quaint town of Kilkenny where we toured the castle and roamed the beautiful streets. Then back in Dublin, we concluded the last night at Taylor’s Cabaret. We can’t thank Globus and our group enough for the most fabulous time in Ireland.

Another beauty day in Ireland yesterday. We started our day at Blarney Castle & Gardens where some participated in the kissing of the stone. Next we had a very informative tour of the Waterford crystal factory. And lastly we ended our day at a 300 year old pub - Jack Meade’s - and enjoyed some good ceol agus craic (music and fun).

Yesterday was a bit rainy but still an excellent day for the Ring of Kerry. We enjoyed wonderful stops along the way and then ended our day back in Killarney where we took horse drawn carriages through the National Park.

Another great day in Ireland yesterday. We started our day at the Flying Boat and Maritime Museum which included a fascinating life size replica of the Yankee Clipper. We then learned how to make Irish coffee at Foynes, the home of the original Irish coffee.
After that, we headed to Di**le and enjoyed a wonderful drive around the Di**le peninsula. We ended our day at the regal Cahernane House Hotel.

Another outstanding day yesterday for our group in Ireland. First we toured a sheep farm where we learned to make scones and herd the sheep. Next we stopped at Poulnabrone Tomb, constructed nearly 5000 years ago. Then we had an absolutely perfect day to take in the beautiful scenery at the Cliffs of Moher. Then ended our day at Knappogue Castle for a medieval themed dinner and entertainment, complete with kings and queens (for a day)!

Today we spent a fantastic day on Inishmore, largest of the Aran Islands which are located off the west coast of Ireland. Some of us took a hike up to see a 3000 yr old fortress perched at the top of a high cliff, then we all enjoyed lunch at a local pub.

Yesterday was another great day with Globus. We drove through more of the Irish countryside to Kylemore Abbey, home of the Benedictine Sisters, then enjoyed some shopping, a drink and a lesson in Hurling at The King’s Head pub in Galway.

Yesterday we left Dublin into the Irish countryside where we toured the National Irish Stud, Strokestown Park House and National Potato Famine museum. Great start to our tour with Globus!

Our Stonetown Travel group has made it to Ireland! We’ve had about a day and half to explore Dublin, including Guinness, Trinity College, the Book of Kells, St. Stephen’s Green, Temple Bar, and more. Tomorrow we start our bus tour across the beautiful Irish countryside. 🇮🇪
