Setting sun on the last long weekend of summer. ☀️ How did it go by so fast?! We had a family reunion this weekend and the weather at the lake was absolutely perfect. Hope you all had a wonderful long weekend!

Got a group with a bunch of kids this weekend. We intended to have this area decked out with a cool tree house… next years project I guess! Until then, we’ve got the tonka excavating team and some other outdoor toys to keep those little hands busy. Our kids love these trucks so much. Hoping our little guests do too!

It’s the ceiling, for me. There’s just something about vaults and panelling… am I right? Throughout the house is the same vaulted panelled ceiling with gorgeous beams. We fell in love the moment we walked in. The entire house was the same dark stain as the ceiling and the beams were stained dark brown. It was built in the ‘70s. It felt small, drab and sad. We saw potential and couldn’t wait to give it a modern beach vibe. Our painter put a ton of sweat and love into this project. She called it a labour of love. And do we ever love it! She did a stellar job and we couldn’t be happier!
