Planning to visit the park this weekend? Parking passes are fully booked, so and arrive early or consider visiting us in the fall. First-come, first-serve parking goes quickly and once the lots are full, there is no access to any areas of the park.

Join the Peninsula Bruce Trail Club on July 15th at 7PM, August 19th at 7PM and on September 16th at 10AM for their walking tour of the Historic Bruce Trail and Harbour. $10 per person or $20 per family; pre-registration is required. Feeding wildlife doesn’t help - it hurts! You are putting yourself, other visitors and wildlife at risk when you feed them. Animals that get fed may lose their natural fear of humans, which can lead to problems. Please help keep the “wild” in wildlife.

The water is way up at Singing Sands, which means there is almost no beach. Please enjoy the boardwalk, picnic deck and trails, but stay out of the roped areas which protect the fragile dunes and plants in this amazing coastal ecosystem.

Planning a trip to Singing Sands? You will not find the big sandy beach like in past years due to the high water levels. Don’t worry there is still plenty to do! You can walk along our boardwalk, or go for a hike on the Wild Garden Trail. Please stay on the trails and don’t wander into the roped areas, which protect the fragile dunes.

We are celebrating the 50th Anniversary of the Apollo 11 Moon Landing and ten years of this area being designated a Dark Sky Preserve! Water Safety Alert! The water may look tropical, but it is colder than usual this year due to a chilly spring. The current water temp. is about 10 degrees Celsius in Georgian Bay near Tobermory. Hypothermia will happen quickly, so be very cautious if you’re around the water.

It’s nesting season, and the Turtle Trackers are back in action! These dedicated volunteers will be out monitoring turtles in the park every morning and evening. Last year, over 230 hatchling turtles were released from protective nest boxes.
