For its first edition in 2014, Feature welcomed 23 leading contemporary art galleries selected by an advisory committee of influential Canadian experts. This new art fair is dedicated exclusively to cutting edge contemporary art and is organized by galleries, for galleries. Feature brings together artists whose practices are outstanding for their ability to innovate, challenge and inspire. With an

audacious exhibition design and with each gallery presenting a maximum of three artists, Feature provides a fresh and exciting perspective on contemporary art. The innovative layout of the fair generates a dynamic presentation space and fosters dialogue between the artworks on display, thus creating an intimate and unique viewer experience.

Antonia Hirsch’s practice testifies to a long-standing engagement with the quantitative, spatial and syntactic systems that structure an understanding of our universe. Hirsch’s work, presented by Republic Gallery (Booth 204), often relates these ordering structures to embodied and visual experience.
