With the end of the season, there is some recreational time for Skipper Bob so a day of diving amongst other things was in store. Great day of fun and few scallops to boot.

Here are our two newest acquisitions going into 2025. Our new accommodations in the background will be called The Bird House while our current B&B will be The House of Whales. The Bird House will have rooms like The Puffin, The Gannet and The Stellers Sea Eagle after our most famous resident raptor with an additional five ensuite rooms in total. Big changes for 2025 with the same great tours and an expanded marine interpretation and social center. Come on 2025 season!!!!

Big shout out to Barrett Pierce of Texas who came to see the Stellers Sea Eagle which we saw yesterday BTW. It took two years and several tours to get his shot but the results are fabulous! Meeting guests like Barrett makes this passion of mine not only memorable but monumental!!! He sent these photos from Texas mounted on aluminum. Love this place that is my home and the people who come to share it!! Well done!!!

The Stellers Sea Eagle is still in the area feeding and enjoying the autumn change in the food sources in the bay. How long will he/she be here this year? It will be interesting to see. Will it be back next year? Will it become a parent after building two nests this year? The possibilities are very exciting.
