Details in the announcement of the re-opening of a commercial fishery for Northern Cod are disgusting for the vast majority of fishermen in this province.

A mere 5000 MT increase in the TAC does not constitute a "re-opening" of the fishery and is far less than the 12,000 MT increase that stakeholders were counting on.

Most enterprises that relied on fishing cod in previous stewardship fisheries will have no more to catch than before and the sharing arrangement will breed animosity between regions.

Foreigners will now get access to 5% of the TAC, which amounts to about 1000 MT, as a result of changing the classification from Stewardship to Commercial.

This was a complete Liberal screw up!

We esteem our neighbors, however, we kindly request that you refrain from burying your cherished pets on our property. Please exhume the recent burial and relocate it to your own land.
The nickname "pet cemetery" started years ago when the family moved off the property and didn't have a car to keep an eye on things. We are here now and ask please do not use our property, use yours. The place where pets are being buried was the exact location of Chesley Andrews, Danny's fathers barn.
Many apps have labeled our property as a municipal park, we love for locals to use it and provided a picnic table for years however the campers are frighting our guests as we rent our home at times.
Recently, three woman expressed concern and fear over a single man camping out the front at night.
Danny and I love to see folks sit on our bench and enjoy the sea, however in the daylight hours please.
With love and respect for our community please don't stop visiting Danny's family property.

Our guests are the best!

Once again, thank you for making your Andrews by the Sea available to me at the last minute. I truly don’t want to leave Newfoundland and return home. Three weeks went by much too quickly. You are a wonderful couple and I am thankful for the opportunity to meet you both.
