We offer a mix each season

of classes ranging from progressives leading up to a student showcase performance, to dance & burlesque skill building classes, to workout and dance conditioning classes. The VBC offers private sessions for those looking for a one-on-one experience with top-notch instruction. We help those looking to work on their dance skills, performers wanting to fine-tune their numbers, plus fitness models and body builders prepping routines and poses for competitions. is dedicated to making your special event a remarkable occasion! We went back to school last VBC Showcase, back to Beauty School with ’s Chair Cabaret class! ✨

Chelsea’s open level chair class gave us an adorable show to remember, repping Frenchy from Grease in all the pink we could handle. This group gave us formations, tricks, sweetness and camp, winning the audience over with extra cuteness and winks. ✨

It’s a good day to praise ! 🙌
Scarlet definitely upped the temperature at our last VBC Showcase. ✨

Scarlet Delirium prowled the stage to grinding rock’n’roll, giving us all the sizzling energy we could handle combined with the best bodysuit removal ever. She had us in the palm of her hand the entire act and we all said Yes Ma’am, whatever you say Ma’am! ✨

Everyone’s favourite colour was represented hard by ’s Burlesque Starlets at our last VBC Showcase. ✨💜✨

Cherry’s Starlets focus on silk veil fan skills last season and brought a 70s/80s rock fantasy to life featuring the music of Prince and Jimi Hendrix. We had purple everything, from tips to tails, with swirling costumes and props and much badassery. This was a visual delight!✨

Join Bea Lissima (she/siya) for a learning session on the pillars of accountability and what makes an apology authentic.

You’ve caused harm. What’s next?
We are all capable of hurting people and sometimes the fear and shame that stems from learning we’ve done something bad prevents us from repairing the damage caused by us. ✨

For the past 16 years Bea Lissima has been strutting stages across Turtle Island. This Moh’kins’tsis maven has performed at the Burlesque Hall of Fame Weekender in Las Vegas, the Asian Burlesque Festival in New York City, and is the 2023 winner of “Best Burlesque” at the Imperial Burlesque Competition in Montreal. Combining intersex queerness, Filipino heritage, and disability into her performances, she creates a sacred experience for all those brave enough to witness.✨

Vita gave us comedy, glam, choreo, flexibility and a whole lot of scrubbing! 🧽 This act is high energy, funny, sexy, sparkly and CAMP, we loved every second of it. Keep your eyes peeled for where Vita Devour pops up next, she’s definitely one to watch! ✨

In these seemingly endless days of rain, we need to become one with our shadows. Seems like a perfect day to look back at ’s Lyrical Tease class performance last month. ✨

Androsia’s group put on one of the most beautiful performances we’ve ever had on our stage. A new class to the VBC, this class really delved into their feels and darkness. Set to a trip hop soundtrack, this group pushed and pulled through the cosmos, trying to find their way back to the light. Congrats to Androsia and her students on this gorgeous new class and act! ✨

Shaking off the gloom and rain with photos of ’s Burlesque Ingenues from our last VBC Showcase. ✨

Cherry’s Ingenues took us to a dark and smoky Speakesy, where bored flappers waited for the party to get popping. With a Crazy in Love mega mix and all the flying fringe and b***y shaking you can handle, these students made us squeal and put giant smiles on all our faces as they welcomed us into the party of the decade.✨

It’s a nice night to admire some of the amazing students from our last session - we were buzzing for ’s Burlesque Debut class at our December Showcase! ✨🐝

Ariel’s Debut class were the cutest little bees you ever did see, from their stripes to their stingers. We had a joyful classic burlesque show from them complete with showpony formations, delicious peels and reveals and lots of adorable moments . A round of applause for these busy bees - some of them hitting the stage for their first time ever! ✨

Androsia gave us a beautiful and celebratory act, inspired by her home, the Bahamas. From the Bahamian flag colours of her costume, to the music and movement PLUS the fact that Androsia’s parents who were visiting from the Caribbean were in the audience, this act truly transported us all and brought so much joy! ✨

Last month Chelsea’s Advanced Chair gave us an up-close-and personal experience that explored the topic of society’s pressure to be buttoned up and present yourself in a certain way and the desire to break free and let it all explode out, juts the way you are, in all the colours of the rainbow.

Have you finished our Burlesque Introduction course and unsure where to go next? This is the class for you!
In this 7 week course, Ariel Helvetica will prepare you for your first burlesque group performance. We will build upon our current foundations including history and movement to take your tease factor to the next level. Learn how to work in a group setting to create a cohesive classic burlesque routine.

We’re delighted to host the 2022 King of Burlesque .nonoire in January for his Intro to Acro workshop! ✨

Join P. No on Sunday, January 27, 3pm – 2:30pm. Registration is now open. ✨

Intro To Acro With P. No Noire is an introductory class that emphasizes on safe body awareness and lead-up drills that will build a solid foundation for basic and intermediate level performance acrobatics. This class focuses on acro-based skills and transitions, when and why we use them, and gives you the opportunity to workshop newly honed tricks!

What To Expect:
A fun, friendly, and inclusive atmosphere
A positive learning environment that will move at the pace of the attendees at large
Modified variations of some skills to accommodate for physical limitations

Join for our 3 week Burlesque: An Introduction course! ✨

Tuesdays, January 9 - 23
6pm - 7:30pm

Join Ariel Helvetica for a fun 3-week course of shimmy, shaking good times! This course is a pre-requisite to most of our performance progressives and an important first step!
Dip your toes into the sparkling world of Burlesque and the Art of the Tease. This 3-day course will introduce you to our sassy art form – starting with Burlesque’s history, classic movement and styling, and moving through st******se peels & reveals. You will focus on poise & posture, walking in heels, and some fun bump’n’grind movement, and will then layer our st******se skills on to this foundation. You will also learn a fun choreo along the way to help put your newfound tricks together. Everyone welcome – whether you’re brand new to burlesque or you’re a burlesque student who wants to learn more – there will be something for each showpony living inside you. ✨
