The league strives to be a positive, safe, and inclusive space for members of the q***r community. We encourage adult players of all ages, languages, fitness levels, and soccer experience to register and connect through soccer. SUMMER LEAGUE:

When: Monday AND Thursday nights from mid-May until August 22nd. Each team will only play ONCE per week, on either Monday or T
hursday depending on the week. Where: Clinton Park SW (grass)

When and how do I sign up? Registration for the 2025 season will open March 24th at noon. Registration will fill up very quickly, so be sure to sign-up early! Message me or email q***[email protected] to get on the mailing list so you don’t miss any updates! Registration will be first come, first served. You're able to register to be on a team or on the sub list. We have a very long waitlist every season, so if you think that you will miss more than 1/3 of the games, please register for only the sub list to give more folks who can play the majority of games the chance to be placed on a team. To register, you will fill out a Google Form that will be sent via email and posted to Instagram at noon on March 25th. You will be asked to provide the following information:
1. Soccer experience and skill (on a scale of 1-5) so we can balance experience and skill across teams
3. Preferred position (defence, midfield, forward, goalie, or no preference)
Optional:
4. Pronoun(s)
5. Up to TWO people you want to play with (the requests must match)
How will the teams be formed? Everyone will register as an individual (unless you requested to play with anyone else) and once the league is full, everyone will be separated into groups based on skill level and position and then 8 teams of 23 will be created from these groups. This is to keep the skill level on all the teams even and to create an environment where you can meet people in the q***r community :)

Q***r Van Soccer is open to all q***r, trans, gender diverse people and allies. The goal of the league is to support the q***r and trans community to play the game of soccer in a positive, welcoming atmosphere. If you have played competitively, just for fun, or not at all, you're welcome to sign up. It’s also about having fun, helping beginners learn the rules and develop their skills, and meeting new people. I will try to ensure that teams are as well-balanced as possible to facilitate friendly competition.
Reminder: Players use various pronouns (e.g., she/her, he/him, they/them) so please be cognizant of your language while you're participating and/or communicating with other players/fans. It's better to ask than assume someone's pronoun or just stick to gender neutral language such as ‘they,’ folks,’ or ‘team.’

You'll just need to email q***[email protected] when registration opens and provide the following information:

Everyone will register as an individual (unless you requested to play with someone else) and once the league is full I will separate everyone into groups based on skill level and position and then I'll create 4 teams of 22 from these groups. This is to keep the skill level on all the teams even and to create an environment where you can meet people in the q***r community. The teams will be revealed at a beginning of season social near the end of April where you can meet your new teammates!
When and how do I pay?
Once at least four teams have been confirmed to play an email will go out with instructions on how to make your season's payment.
