A charming and tasteful nursery located on the Vancouver Westside. We hope you will visit soon!

Established in 1991, and located in a charming 'equestrian pocket' on Vancouver's upscale westside, this unique area called Southlands is a horse friendly enclave right in the city. Large lots and small acreages house many stables, and it is not unusual to see horses and their riders go by our gates. With delicious free coffee always on hand, many people tell us that they come down to the nursery just to experience the beautiful atmosphere.

Izabel is from the Sweet Daisy series from Dummen Orange, is extremely floriferous with soft yellow flowers measuring up to 5 inches across. Yellow centers. Compact and tidy habit. Great for the front of the border or in containers. Deer and rabbit resistant. Makes great cutflowers. Zones 5-9. 8-10 inches high. Summer blooms.

Gorgeous nodding white blooms with golden stamens mid to late summer. Sun to part shade with moist well-drained soil. Ideally with some protection from strong winds. 15-20 feet tall by 8 feet wide. Broadly columnar and evergreen tree with small. Shiny green leaves.

Summer phlox is very popular for its late summer display in the sunny border. Plants have an upright habit, producing large and fragrant clusters of blooms from midsummer to fall. This selection features super-sized dazzling white blooms each with a blush-pink eye, a super-sized habit and better branching than others. Attracts bees and butterflies. Deer and rabbit resistant. Wonderful in garden beds, borders and mass plantings. Full sun. Zones 4-9. 18-20 inches high by 16-18 inches wide. Blooms Early Summer to Early Fall. Upright clump.

Colocasia ‘Lemon Lime Gecko’ is an upright, Elephant Ear plant featuring amazingly large, heart-shaped leaves with lime green, mottled variegation. Leaves face outwards for a dramatic, tropical display. Strong and fast growing.

Best in a wind sheltered location. Excellent accent in the garden, container or pond. This majestic tuberous plant prefers organically rich, medium to wet soils. Elephant Ear plants add bold color and a tropical look to any garden.

Abutilon ‘Fool’s Gold’ – Flowering Maple

Abutilon ‘Fool’s Gold’ is a deciduous flowering maple that holds orange and burnt orange bell-shaped flowers with green foliage in an upright habit.

Abutilons are very heat tolerant, making them excellent for summer gardens or containers in the hot sun. Provide winter protection in cooler climates. They thrive in well-drained soil with occasional feedings. Pinch the young leaf stems to encourage more branching. Prune lightly to shape and remove dead stems. Zone 8-10 (annual). 48 inches high by 30 inches wide. Summer blooms. Filtered/partial sun, full sun, partial shade. Clumping upright growth habit.

What a cute little Rudbeckia this is! Forms a tight mound topped with perfect golden yellow pom-pom flowers with dark chocolate eyes. The flowers emerge in early summer and hold their colour into October. As the blooms mature, the thin strappy petals develop a contrasting red edge. A fast and vigorous grower that is ideal for containers as well as the border. Full sun. 10-14 inches tall by 16-18 inches wide. Zone 8. Tolerates moist soil. Long blooming.

Colocasia esculenta ‘Waikiki’ – Taro

Colocasia esculenta ‘Waikiki’ displays spectacular, large, heart-shaped, green leaves with pink veins and a yellow-white center. Pink color develops as it ages. New growth emerges deep black. Taro is a tender perennial with an upright vase-shaped habit.

Colocasia plants add a tropical flair to beds, borders and containers with their striking foliage. Performs best in moist, humus-rich soil and regular water. Protect from frost! Zones 8-10. Filtered/partial sun, full sun, partial shade. 3.5 feet high by 5 feet wide.

Hydrangea paniculata

Huge two-toned blooms!Pinky Winky has an unusual name, and an even more unusual flower. The large white panicles open in mid to late summer, and as summer turns to fall the florets at the base of the panicles turn pink. The flower panicles continue to grow, producing new white florets at the tip. The result is spectacular two-toned flower panicles that can reach up to 16 inches in length! This is a real show-stopper that’s also very easy to grow. Adaptable to most soils and both sun and shade, Pinky Winky will thrive in most gardens.
