Prevailing and seasonal winds in the summer Trade Winds: Also called Easterlies, blow from Northeast (in the northern hemisphere) and Southeast (in the southern hemisphere) to the West along the Equator. They are permanent and prevailing winds caused by temperature and pressure differences, together with the Coriolis effect (Earth turning towards the East). Family of Red Monkeys with little baby encountered on the side of the road in Zanzibar. Quite unexpected and emotional experience..

Red Monkeys are endemic to Zanzibar, and can only be found here on the island. Considered an endangered and protected species, they live in the National Park of the Jozani Forest. But can also be seen in the surrounding areas, just like in this lucky occasion.
