C13 Powisle Station - Warsaw
Ground freezing work: The new underground tunnel will under pass the road tunnel (Wislostrada Tunnel) in proximity of the new underground station. The tunnels from the left and the right side of the station have been already drilled by the TBM. Under the station, the tunnels will be excavated in the conventional way using the ground freezing method as underground support structure. The ground freezing will be performed with the mix method: liquid nitrogen (LN) during the freezing stage and then brine during the excavation of the tunnels.

The project of the Vistula River crossing includes a 1.1 km long twin tube highway tunnel under the Vistula River in Gdansk, Poland and it is the final part of the four-phase Slowackiego (Slovacki) Highway Project. The tubes will be connected by seven cross passages; the 7 cross-passages will be excavated below the water table using the ground freezing method as underground support structure. The ground freezing will be performed with the indirect method, using brine freezing, and the ex*****on of the cross passages works will be done while the TBM is excavating the northern tunnel.
