Costa Rica's National Bird - the Yigüirro (pronunciation sounds like gui-[like guido] ro [rolled "r"]) & part of the reason it was selected (in a country FULL of gorgeous birds!!). Another possible reason it was chosen that they don't mention might be because it tends to come out LOUD & CLEAR about a few weeks to a month before the start of Rainy Season (unfortunately they sometimes start around 4am!!)
