Top Notch, gorgeous modern property, Jodie an amazing host. Easily the nicest accommodations I've had in the tropics. Perfect location to playa Guiones and surrounding shops & restaurants. Quiet street. Easy ample parking if you have a car. Our bungalow had a fully functioning kitchen; we made great meals here, COLD ice maker & fridge brand new like everything else here. Super clean, modern, well designed structures. AC & fans; rooms stayed cool during peak sun with only ceiling fans running. We had our own laundry room equipped with a secure surfboard storage rack; loved this feature so we weren't tripping over boards in the apartment. Had our own private sunny/shaded patio, plenty of room to do yoga or relax. Electronic safe & motion sensor alarm in our bungalow. Pool is beautiful and a nice place to relax after getting pounded by surf all day. The property surrounded by thick green palms & flowers. Highly recommend. Will definitely be back.

Do your friends ask you where to stay in Nosara? We have the perfect spot! Another great review of Nosara Verde!

My husband and I stayed two weeks in one of the charming casitas at Nosara Verde. I was amazed how cozy yet spacious the house felt. We checked out one of the bigger homes in Nosara Verde for our next trip and it was fabulous! The secluded pool is beautiful and kept immaculate. Location is ideal. You can stay there and never need a car, the beach, restaurants and shops are a bike ride or even walking distance away. Jodie and her staff were always so helpful when I asked for recommendations; best place to eat breakfast, dinner, get a massage and more. The nearby zip line is a blast but my morning walks on the beach and returning to watch the most breathtaking sunsets were my favorites. We will definitely return to Nosara Verde.

A Week in Paradise!

My family of 8 had an amazing vacation in Playa Guiones! Casa Selva was the prefect home for us! It was spacious and nicely equipped and in a compound of beautiful homes with a security guard, so we felt very safe. The house is situated in the back with a wonderful view of the jungle, which I really loved. We hardly knew that other families were around from the creative way that Nosara Verde was designed, and we were able to see all kinds of amazing wildlife from our back deck. The pool is large and heavenly with a whirlpool and waterfall area - perfect when it is too hot on the beach. The house is situated in the area with tons of restaurants and shops close by, and the beach is a bike ride or 4-wheeler away. Jody was fantastic to work with - quick to respond, informative, and flexible with the odd times of our travel to and from Nosara. She even connected us with an amazing cook, Lucy, who the whole family LOVED! She made my vacation so that I did not have to cook or clean up after everyone!!! Lucy's husband, Juan, made the fishermen in my family happy by taking them fishing and catching several sailfish on the 2 trips they chartered. We were all depressed to come home. I would highly recommend this house to anyone looking for a week in paradise!

I write this review with some hesitation. Not because I have mixed feelings about Nosara Verde, but because if I am honest about how great it is, then it might be harder to book when I come back, and I am definitely coming back! In short, darn close to perfection. The "units" are stylish, secluded, clean and well laid out. With an efficiency you can make your meals and grab a cold beer whenever the mood strikes. Making your own food not your thing? No problem, Nosara Verde is conveniently located on a quiet street within a short walk of everything you need. Turn left for a mini mart, restaurants and surf shops, turn right and the path drops you right on the "main road". At the corner is a new skate park / restaurant with the best food, a local market on the weekend and a great vibe. Oh yes, then there is the beach. Sure there are places a little closer, but only a handful. The walk is short (we carried all our gear every day with no issue at all), and the great thing is that you end up at a very quiet spot between to main access points, so it feels a little more secluded. Finally, there is the pool. Perched on a hill, with a whirlpool bath and a waterfall, it is an oasis within an oasis. There really isn't much more you can ask for - great location, beautiful accommodation, quiet street, amazing beach, relaxed and inclusive environment, and Jodi, the most accommodating host! Book this place... just don't book when I want to come back!
