Playing dominoes in Cuba is a national pastime ! While walking through the streets of Havana is quite common to head the click and clack on the dominoes and boisterous arguing or laughing.

In most place they play dominoes with a set of double-six meaning they play with 28 tiles and in Havana they play with a set of double-nine so up to 55 tiles - the rules are a bit different and it can be a bit more challenging. It involves 4 players split into team of 2 and also a bottle of rum. The game goes on for hours and everyone really get into it ! Come and immerse yourself in the cuban lifestyle 🇨🇺🥃🎉

Even on rainy days like this we still get the chance to share some time with the locals kids of the community. Every time we go to Jardin de Cuba we leave super happy and fulfilled because our main goal is to have a good time and the kids always know how to be happy and grateful. We’d like to share with you every Sunday our highlight activity of the week.

The rainy season has started and the soil is gaining nutrients from the first rains - this means that in a couple of months we’ll have fresh ground to start cultivating more herbs and other plants 🌱 Now it’s time to get the seedlings ready ! 💚

This Wednesday it was World Environment Day so we went to visit Jardin de Cuba with Jakera and brought some donations for the kids. We received a brief explanation of the future projects the team has in mind after this we spend the rest of our time enjoying some fun and games with the kids. We love to see big smiles and everyone sharing - Thank you everyone who has been a part of this beautiful project and helped us support this family. ♻️🤍🌳
