After 25 years I met again with Sarah Darwin, a friend from my youth. She will be aboard the sailboat "Oosterschelde", a restored three-sail boat that houses the Darwin200 project, scientists and environmentalists have been replicating since August the journey of the father of modern biology, who in 1835 arrived on the islands off the coast of Ecuador .
Part of the DNA of the English naturalist travels on the boat: botanist Sarah Darwin, a direct descendant, is part of the team that arrived today, May 18, at San Cristóbal Island. Great to see you my friend and welcome to Galapagos.
