"Al-Tibtah" which is found at the feet of a mountain in Siwa oasis is famous for being an epic medical and tourist center. Zeitoun lake is a picturesque wonder known to be the biggest salt lake in the oasis which is 95% salt and is 4 meters deep. This salt lake is able to treat Skin problems, Sinus problems, Psoriasis, Joint Inflammation, Digestive System Diseases, Rheumatism, and Eye problems. The Siwa people extract the salt and use it in building homes and crafting their tools, plus making lamps.
