Mateegi.com started off as an idea in 2012. We found that boutique hotels, campsites, and a lot of activity centers in Egypt do not have proper representation on the web and access to such facilities has been limited and virtually unexplored. Our love for Egypt and its untapped resources pushed us to create this web-portal for all the beautiful places that need to be found. It took us a while to g

Mohamed El Fouly graduated from the American University in Cairo with a B.Sc. in Actuarial Science and a double minor in Business Administration & Computer Science. He has 6 years of professional experience in the fields of Management Consulting, Financial Analysis and Asset Management. He loves to travel, dives like a shark, and has a passion for food and motorcycles (although he isn't riding anymore, for now at least). He successfully climbed Mt. Kilimanjaro along with a group of his best friends. He's also very single (wink wink ladies). Karim Zaafan graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Management of Information Systems (MIS) from Modern Sciences & Arts, Egypt, an affiliate of Middlesex University in London. He has experience in Portfolio Management and Investment Banking. Which is all so very boring that the team dozed off halfway through typing this. He's a technology freak, likes motorcycles (he currently owns one and it is freaking cool), pink fluffy bunnies, Lord of the Rings, and he's getting married pretty soon (HAHA! He doesn't approve of this bio and will probably kill us. So, if you're investigating the curious murder of Seif and Fouly, hint hint. Seif Nabhan also holds a BA in Management of Information Systems (MIS) from Modern Sciences & Arts, Egypt, an affiliate of Middlesex University in London. He worked as a Marketing Consultant for a while afterwards then moved to the UK to acquire a Masters Degree in Marketing from Edinburgh Business School. Seif has travelled halfway across the world, is a Scottish Lord (Yes, a real Lord), loves food, also has a passion for Lord of the Rings and Motorcycles (although his mother won't let him buy one. True Story).
